Ani9 is a potent, selective anoctamin1 (ANO1, TMEM16A) channel inhibitor with IC50 of 107 nM, with negligible effect on ANO2 (IC50>10 uM).
Ani9 is >18 times lower than that of T16Ainh-A01 (Cat. PC-35990) and MONNA (Cat. PC-38479).
Ani9 fully inhibited ATP-induced ANO1 activation in a dose-dependent manner with IC50 of 77 nM.
Ani9 did not affect the intracellular calcium signaling and CFTR chloride channel activity.
