BC18813 (BC 18813) is a small molecule inhibitor of the E3 ubiquitin ligase subunit DCAF7, potently inhibits SARS-CoV-2 infection with IC50 of 48 nM in cell-based assays.
BC18813 decreases TFEB ubiquitination and significantly reduces the measured interaction between DCAF7 and TFEB in nucleus of cells.
BC18813 attenuates a wide range of viral infections including SARS-CoV-2 infection, prevents virally-triggered TFEB degradation and dose-dependently reduces OC43 coronavirus infection, reduces HCoV-OC43 NP expression with IC50 of 0.3 uM.
