BE2012 is a potent, selective first-in-class REV-ERBα/β antagonist with EC50 of 285 nM (REV-ERBα) and 0.346 nM (REV-ERBβ).
BE2012 has superior activity over SR8278 (REV-ERBα: EC50 = 0.446 μM).
BE2012 treatment induced key myogenic transcription factors upon acute skeletal muscle injury, similar to SR8278.
