Biological Activity
BHV-2100 (Ponometrep, BHV2100) is a selective, peripherally restricted TRPM3 antagonist, inhibits human, mouse, and rat TRPM3 with IC50 of 1-10 nM, shows >1000x selectivity vs related channels and no significant off-target liabilities.
BHV-2100 is peripherally restricted by design and displays good-excellent ADME/PK across species.
BHV-2100 has demonstrated robust and dose dependent inhibition of pain in multiple rodent models, including pregnenolone sulfate-induced pain in mice.
