BRD2879 (BRD-2879) is a potent, selective inhibitor of IDH1-R132H mutant with IC50 of 50 nM, inhibits cell-based production of R-2HG with EC50 of 0.3 uM.
BRD2879 shows weak inhibition against IDH1-R132C (IC50=2.5 uM), and no activity against IDH1-WT and IDH2-R140Q (IC50>20 uM).
BRD2879 displays competitive patterns with both the α-KG substrate and the Mg2+ cofactor.
