                        Bacterial SPase inhibitor MD3 a small molecule inhibitor of bacterial type I signal peptidases (SPases) with IC50 of 10 uM against P. aeruginosa LepB protein.
MD3 inhibits recombinant Escherichia coli SPase (LepB).
MD3 demonstrates potent activity against wild-type and multidrug-resistant strains of A. baumannii and S. maltophilia with MICs ranging from 0.5 to 14 mg/L in the presence of subinhibitory concentrations of colistin.
