CBR-5884 (CBR5884) is a potent, selective, noncompetitive inhibitor of 3-phosphoglycerate dehydrogenase (PHGDH) with IC50 of 7 uM.
CBR-5884 selectively inhibits de novo serine synthesis in cancer cells with IC50 of 30 uM.
CBR-5884 shows a time-dependent onset of inhibition and disrupted the oligomerization state of PHGDH.
