Biological Activity

CRF1 Receptor Antagonist M43 is a potent, selective nonpeptide corticotropin-releasing factor receptor 1 (CRHR1, CRF1) with Ki of 19.2 nM.
M43 inhibits cAMP accumulation stimulated by 10 nM Tyr0-sauvagine in a dose–response manner, with an antagonistic potency of 43.5 nM (pIC50 = 7.36).
M43 inhibits the proliferation rate of RAW 264.7 macrophages stimulated by 10 nM of Tyr0-sauvagine.
