CZL80 markedly reduced neuronal excitability and incidence of febrile seizures (FS) generation in neonatal mice.
CZL80 relieves later enhanced epileptogenic susceptibility in adult mice.
CZL80 is devoid of acute diazepam‐like respiratory depression and chronic liver toxicity.
CZL80 promotes the neurological recovery in PIS by inhibiting Caspase-1 within a long therapeutic time-window in mice with progressive ischemic stroke (PIS).
