    DIDS is a small molecule inhibitor of RAD51-mediated homologous recombination.
    DIDS inhibits repair of activation-induced cytidine deaminase (AID)-initiated DNA breaks, induces apoptosis, and promotes cytotoxicity preferentially in AID-expressing human CLL;.
    DIDS strongly inhibits T1D development in NOD mice.
