Biological Activity

DMT207 is a potent, selective, non-nucleoside DNMT1 (DNA Methyltransferase 1) inhibitor with IC50 of 6.88 nM.
DMT207 (50-500 nM) elevates γ-globin in adult primary erythroblasts.
DMT207 specifically induced the expression of γ-globin in both mRNA and protein levels, and maintained higher cell viability in primary erythroblasts from β-Thalassemia patients.
DMT207 induces εy- and βh1-globin in β-thalassemia mice.
DMT207 mediates DNMT1 degradation by enhancing its interaction with UHRF1.
