EP4 agonist 11a is a potent, selective and non-prostanoid agonist of prostaglandin E2 receptor EP4 with EC50 of 2.1 nM (hEP4).
EP4 agonist 11a binds orthosterically to the PGE2 site in the EP4 receptor despite structural differentiation from prostanoids.
EP4 agonist 11a induces hemodynamic changes in mouse, a known on-target effect of EP4 agonists in systemic circulation.
