Biological Activity

G907 is a potent, selective small-molecule antagonist of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter MsbA with IC50 of 18 nM.
G907 traps MsbA in an inward-facing, lipopolysaccharide-bound conformation by wedging into an architecturally conserved transmembrane pocket.
G907 inhibits the growth of wild-type E. coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae with MIC of 5.6 ug/ml.
