Biological Activity
GO-Y030 is a curcumin analogue and STAT3 inhibitor, inhibits STAT3 DNA binding and STAT3 transcriptional activity, reduces cell viability and induces apoptosis in in breast and pancreatic cancer cells.
GO-Y030 is more potent than curcumin in inducing apoptosis in colorectal cancer cells, inducesPARP and/or caspase-3 cleavages.
GO-Y030 shows an improved chemopreventive effect on intestinal tumorigenesis.
GO-Y030 reduces the number of β-catenin-positive adenoma cells in Apc580D/+ mice.
