A natural tetranortriterpenoid compound that inhibits Hsp90 and induce the degradation of Hsp90-dependent client proteins; displays antiproliferative activity in vitro with IC50 of 3.22, 8.84 and 16.8 uM in SKBr3, MCF-7 and CaCo-2 cancer cell lines respectively; also shows potential antimalarial activity against P. falciparum.
