JYL-1421 (SC-0030) is a potent, competitive TRPV1 receptor antagonist with Ki of 53.5 nM, antagonizes capsaicin-induced calcium uptake with EC50 of 9.2 nM.
JYL-1421 inhibits capsaicin-evoked substance P, CGRP and somatostatin release from isolated tracheae with IC50 of 0.1-2 uM, decreased capsaicin-induced Ca(2+) accumulation in cultured trigeminal ganglion cells.
JYL-1421 inhibits capsaicin-induced hypothermia, eye wiping movements and reflex hypotension in rats (2 mg/kg, i.p.).
