Biological Activity

KMU-11361 is a multi-protein kinase inhibitor which modulates the inflammatory pathways, exerts activity against inflammatory protein kinases (MAPK1, TAK1, IKKα, JAK2, JAK3 etc.).
KMU-11361 suppressed IL-2 protein and mRNA levels in a dose-dependent manner in Jurkat T cells.
KMU-11361 regulates IL-2 production and IKK-NF-κB pathway in activated human Jurkat T cells.
KMU-11361 regulates T cell activity via the TAK1/MAPKs/NF-κB pathway in CD3/CD28-activated Jurkat T cells.
KMU-11361 inhibits the activities of various kinases, including Bmx(h), Flt3(h), IKKα(h), Itk(h), JAK2(h), JAK3(h), Lck(h), MAPK1(h), ROCK-II(h), TAK1(h), Txk(h), TYK2(h), and Yes(h) with inhibition percentage at 1 µM concentration being 91, 97, 93, 78, 82, 98, 86, 86, 94, 77, 86, 96, and 84%, respectively.
KMU-11361 suppresses COX-2, NO, and pro-inflammatory mediator activity in human macrophages and RA-FLS cells.
KMU-11361 promotes osteoblastic bone formation and inhibits osteoclastic bone resorption.
