LLL12B is a selective STAT3 inhibitor that suppresses Th17 development, specifically inhibits STAT3 and suppresses Th17 differentiation and expansion.
LLL12B significantly suppressed STAT3 phosphorylation, IL-17 expression, and the proliferation of myelin-specific CD4+ T cells, significantly suppressed IL-6-induced IL-17 expression in CD4+ T cells, at both 0.125 μM and 0.25 μM.
LLL12B suppresses IL-23–induced expansion of Th17 cells from experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) mice, suppresses EAE progression in vivo.
LLL12B induces growth arrest, apoptosis, and enhances cisplatin-mediated cytotoxicity in medulloblastoma cells.
