    Biological Activity

    LMP-420 is a small-molecule, orally active inhibitor of TNF-α that reduces replication of HIV-1 (IC50=300 nM) and Mycobacterium tuberculosis in human cells.
    LMP-420 also shows potent cytotoxic effects for CLL cells (ED50=245 nM, 72h) and minimal toxicity for normal hematopoietic cells.
    LMP-420 decreases colonic TNF levels in IL-10-deficient mice with chronic colitis.
