Zefoscytarabine (MB-7133, MB07133) is a liver-targeted prodrug of cytarabine mononucleotide (araCMP) and a DNA polymerase inhibitor inhibits DNA synthesis, selectively releases the monophosphate of a nucleoside (NMP) into CYP3A4-expressing cells, such as hepatocytes.
