Biological Activity

MC2590 is a selective class I/IIb HDACs inhibitor with IC50 of 0.098, 0.156, 0.039, 0.015 and 0.047 uM for HDAC1, 2, 3, 6 and HDAC8 respectively.
MC2590 weakly inhibits other HDAC isoforms HDAC4, HDAC5, HDAC7, HDAC9, HDAC11 with IC50s of 1.35-3.98 uM.
MC2590 induces cell cycle arrest modulating cell cycle-/apoptosis-related miRNAs expression in U937 cells.
