MC4921 (Compound 2a) is a potent, selective NADPH oxidase 2 (NOX2) inhibitor with IC50 of 1.4 uM (hNOX2).
MC4921 effectively engages natively overexpressed NOX2 in PLB-985 cells with EC50 of 0.893 uM in CETSA assays.
MC4921 shows a competitive inhibition model with Ki of 0.991 uM for purified human NOX2.
