MHY1485 is a specific small molecule mTOR activator, targets the ATP domain of mTOR, inhibits autophagy with an mTOR activating effect.
MHY1485 inhibits starvation-induced colocalization between autophagosomes and lysosomes, leading to accumulation of LC3II protein and enlarged autophagosomes in rat hepatocytes and also induced the activity of mTOR.
MHY1485 activates mTOR and protects osteoblasts from dexamethasone.
MHY1485 ameliorates UV-induced skin cell damages via activating mTOR-Nrf2 signaling.
