ML329 is a small molecule micropthalmia-associated transcription factor (MITF) that inhibits the promoter activity of a MITF target gene, melastatin (TRPM-1) with IC50 of 1.2 uM.
ML329 shows specific activity against the MITF-dependent cells, primary melanocytes but no effect on the viability in A375 cells.
