Biological Activity

Mepazine is a potent, selective MALT1 paracaspase inhibitor with IC50 of 0.83 uM.
Mepazine (5 uM) inhibited cellular MALT1 cleavage activity and significantly reduced IL-2 induction in T cells, impaired MALT1-mediated T cell activation.
Mepazine inhibited anti-apoptotic NF-κB signaling and elicit toxic effects selectively on MALT1-dependent ABC-DLBCL cells in vitro and in vivo.
