Biological Activity
N-0920 (Cbz-QFR-kt) is highly potent, specific TMPRSS2 inhibitor with IC50 of 350 pM, displays high antiviral potency with IC50 of 0.3 nM and 0.09 nM for SARS-CoV-2 Variants EG.5.1 and JN.1 respectively.
N-0920 demonstrates strong inhibitory properties with a Ki of 0.03 nM against in vitro dasTMPRSS2.
N-0920 is 533-fold more selective for TMPRSS2 over FXa, 36-fold selectivity for TMPRSS2 over matriptase and low potency against TMPRSS13, also doest not inhibit Cathepsin L.
N-0920 does not impact the SARS-CoV-2 endocytosis/cathepsin entry pathway or, to a greater extent, a TMPRSS2-independent entry pathway.
