NVP-QAV680 (QAV680) is a potent and selective CRTh2 receptor antagonist with Ki of 36 nM and IC50 of 147 nM in 3H-PGD2 filtration binding assays and cAMP whole cell assays, respectively.
NVP-QAV680 displays no significant activities against a panel of prostanoid receptors and related eicosanoid targets at 10 uM.
NVP-QAV680 inhibits DK-PGD2 induced IL-5 and IL-13 from primary cultured human CD4+ Th2 lymphocytes with IC50 of 52 and 25 nM, respectively.
NVP-QAV680 (10 mg/kg, p.o.) inhibits DK-PGD2-induced pulmonary eosinophilia in Sprague-Dawley rats.
