Nanchangmycin (Nanchangmycin A) is a polyether ionophore antibiotic isolated from Streptomyces nanchangensis NS3226 that shows antibacterial and antiviral properties.
Nanchangmycin is potent inhibitor of Zika virus entry, also is active against other medically relevant viruses, including West Nile, dengue, and chikungunya viruses.
