Biological Activity
OCP-001 is a potent, highly selective HDAC1 inhibitor, dose-dependently inhibits osteoclast differentiation.
OCP-001 dose-dependently suppresses RAW264.7 cell viability with IC50 of 108 uM.
OCP-001 shows no significant inhibition for HDAC2, HDAC3, or HDAC8.
OCP-001 suppresses HADC-mediated deacetylation, thereby preserving H3 acetylation levels in RAW264.7 cells.
OCP-001 treatment (10 uM) inhibits osteoclast differentiation and the expression of osteoclast-related genes.
OCP-001 (10 μg/kg) suppresses OVX-induced bone loss and bone microstructural degradation in ovariectomized (OVX) mice.
OCP-001 regulates bone metabolism, improves trabecular microarchitecture, and inhibits osteoclast differentiation in vivo.
