    Biological Activity

    ORF9b homodimerization inhibitor EN300 is a small molecule inhibitor of ORF9b homodimerization, inhibits ORF9b-ORF9b homotypic interaction, inhibits activation of caspase-1 in A549.ORF9b and THP-1.ORF9b cells with IC50 of 0.85 and 17 nM respectively.
    EN300 abrogates cytokine release in THP-1 cells, restores IFN-I responses compromised by ORF9b.
    EN300 potentiates IFN-I responses upon SARS-CoV-2 infection of A549 lung carcinoma cells.
