Biological Activity

Opa1 inhibitor 0 (Opitor-0) is a reversible, noncompetitive inhibitor of mitochondrial dynamin-related protein Optic Atrophy 1 (OPA1) with IC50 of 3.0 uM against GTPase activity, effectively induces mitochondrial fragmentation in both human and mouse cells.
Opitor-0 significantly more potent than MYLS22。
Opitor-0 enhances apoptotic mitochondrial cytochrome c release and restore breast cancer cell sensitivity to the Bcl-2 inhibitor ABT-737.
Opitor-0 reverts breast cancer cell resistance to Bcl-2 inhibition in MDA-MB-231 cells.
