Biological Activity

PSFL1191 is a potent, species-specific inhibitor for human and panda P2X7 receptors with IC50 of 248 nM (hP2X7) and 754 nM (pdP2X7), but inactive against rodents P2X7 (mP2X7/rP2X7, IC50>30 uM).
PSFL1191 shows high selectivity over hP2X1, hP2X2, and hP2X3.
PSFL1191 markedly altered macrophage-mediated bacterial clearance and wound healing while preserving basal physiology in P2rx7A312V/A312V mice.
