Polatuzumab (Anti-human CD79b) is a human CD79b mAb, component of antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) Polatuzumab vedotin. Polatuzumab is internalized, cleaved by lysosomal proteases, thereby delivering MMAE to malignant B-cells. The released MMAE binds to microtubules and kills dividing cells by inhibiting cell division and inducing apoptosis.
