Biological Activity

Pomstafib-2-CR is the ester prodrug of Stafib-2-CR, which is highly potent, selective inhibitor of transcription factor STAT5b with IC50 of 26 nM.
Pomstafib-2-CR inhibits phosphorylation of STAT5b-GFP with an IC50 of 1.0 µM in K562 cells.
Pomstafib-2-CR inhibits phosphorylation of STAT5b-GFP on Tyr699, but not STAT5a-GFP on Tyr694.
