RN-1734 (RN1734) is a potent, selective TRPV4 antagonist with IC50 of 2.3, 3.2 and 5.9 uM for hTRPV4, rTRPV4 and mTRPV4 channels, respectively.
RN-1734 displays selectivity for TRPV4 over other TRP channels (TRPV3, TRPM8 and TRPV1).
RN-1734 reduces the H2O2-induced vasorelaxation in porcine isolated coronary arteries.
