Ran inhibitor M36 (Ran-IN-1) is a specific small molecule inhibitor of Ran GTPase, inhibits Ran-GTP activation, has IC50 of 10.02 uM in clonogenic assays for TOV112D cell line.
M36 inhibited colony formation of TOV112D cells without affecting the ARPE cells.
M36 significantly induced the expression of NR1D1 in two aneuploid EOC cell lines (TOV112D and OV1946).
M36 mimics the effect of the loss of Ran regarding DDR.
M36 (200 mg/kg, i.p.) significantly delayed tumor growth in aggressive ovarian xenograft model.
M36 induces cell death in ex vivo ovarian cancer models, combination of M36 and Olaparib triggers synthetic lethality in EOC cells.
