Biological Activity

SCF-I2 is an allosteric, sepecific inhibitor of substrate recognition by the SCFCdc4 ubiquitin ligase with IC50 of 6.2 uM in FP assays.
SCF-I2 does not affect the activity of the closely related E3 enzyme SCFMet30.
SCF-I2 inhibits binding and/or ubiquitination of both full length Sic1 and Far1 with IC50 of 60 uM.
