SD2-2305 is a potent dopamine receptor D2 (DRD2) antagonist, induces caspase-dependent apoptosis in CRC cells.
SD2-2305 (0-15 uM) induces apoptosis in human CRC cells HCT116 and HT-29.
SD2-2305 (0-15 uM) arrests the cell cycle at the G1 phase and decreases the levels of cellular cyclin/CDK proteins.
SD2-2305-induced apoptosis is not associated with marked changes in JAK/STAT or PI3K/Akt signaling.
SD2-2305 downregulates HER2 protein levels while upregulating TGF-β receptor 1 in CRC cells.
