SMU-CX1 is a specific TLR3 inhibitor, inhibits TLR3-mediated SEAP signaling with IC50 of 0.11 uM, inhibits influenza A virus (IAV) and SARS-CoV-2 activity.
SMU-CX1 selectively inhibits TLR3-activated NO signals but not that of other homologous TLRs.
SMU-CX1 significantly reduces the expression of inflammatory factors downstream of TLR3 signaling pathway induced by IAV stimulation.
SMU-CX1 inhibits SARS-CoV-2 in Vero-E6 cells with IC50 of 0.43 uM.
MU-CX1 exhibits good inhibitory activity against influenza A virus with IC50 ranged from 0.14 to 0.33 µM.
SMU-CX1 significantly inhibits PB2 and NP protein of IAV, can also inhibit inflammatory factors in host cells including IFN-β, IP-10 and CCL-5.
