TCAB1 inhibitor (R)-1b (TCAB1-IN-1) is a potent small molecule inhibitor of telomerase holoenzyme Telomerase Cajal body protein 1 (TCAB1) with IC50 of 2.04 nM.
(R)-1b directly targets TCAB1 and impairs telomerase assembly via obstructing the TCAB1-hTR interaction.
(R)-1b remarkably sensitized tumors to small-molecule PD-L1 inhibitors and induced tumor regression.
