Biological Activity

Tigolaner (BAY-1272858) is a potent, allosteric modulator/ inhibitor of GABA-gated chloride channels (GABA-Cls) with pIC50 of 9.0.
Tigolaner inhibits GABA-gated chloride channels at a different binding site to fipronil.
Tigolaner is an ectoparasiticide for cats and is sold in a mixture product with emodepside and praziquantel called Felpreva®.
