Biological Activity
WB518 is a specific small molecule STAT3 inhibitor, inhibits the phosphorylation of STAT3 Tyr705 (Y705).
WB518 impairs STAT3 activity and decreases the expression of K17 induced by IL-17A/IL-22 in HaCaT cells, without affecting the ERK or STAT1 pathway.
Topical WB518 application ameliorates IMQ-induced psoriasis-like dermatitis.
WB518 treatment significantly ameliorates the development of the scaling and erythema.
WB518 reduces the infiltration of CD3-positive T cells in IMQ-induced mouse skin.
WB518 ameliorates TPA-induced psoriasis-like skin inflammation.
Topical application of WB518 decreases TPA-induced inflammation through STAT3 inhibition.
