Biological Activity

YD1701 is a specific small molecule inhibitor of Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A3 (ALDH1A3) with MST Kd of 9.8 uM, specifically blocks the enzymatic activity of ALDH1A3 with IC50 of 12.0824 ug/mL.
YD1701 does not inhibit other ALDH enzymes.
YD1701 causes morphological changes linked to the mesenchymal-to-epithelial transition (MET) in CRC cells, attenuates the metastasis of human colorectal cancer.
YD1701 prolongs the survival of mice bearing subcutaneous or orthotopic xenografts.
