Biological Activity

ZG-2033 is a potent, selective and orally bioavailable HIF-2α agonist with EC50 of 490 nM, Emax = 349.2%.
ZG-2033 strengthens the dimerization of HIF-2α and ARNT.
ZG-2033 increases the expression of HIF-2 downstream genes─such as EPO, VEGF, GLUT1, and Cyclin D1─in a concentration-dependent manner in 786-O cells, increases EPO expression by 1.57 times at a concentration of 10 μM.
ZG-2033 combined with PHD inhibitor AKB-6548 exhibits a synergistic effect in doxorubicin-induced zebrafish anemia.
