MSAB is a selective, direct inhibitor of Wnt/β-catenin signaling, binds to β-catenin promoting its degradation, and specifically downregulates Wnt/β-catenin target genes.
MSAB inhibited proliferation of Wnt-dependent cancer cell lines, but had little effect on the viability of normal or immortalized breast epithelial cells.
MSAB inhibits β-catenin activity and induces proteasome-dependent degradation of β-catenin.
MSAB suppress the increase of active β-catenin levels in HEK293T cells induced by Wnt3a-CM treatment
MSAB inhibits tumor growth of Wnt-dependent cancer cells in mouse xenograft model.
