fMLFC (fMet-Leu-Phe-Cys) is a peptide agonist of formyl peptide receptor 1 (FPR1), induces lysosomal degradation of FPR1, effectively reduces cell surface FPR1 expression by preventing its recycling after endocytosis, ameliorates lung injury in LPS-treated mice.
