A-317567 (A317567) is a novel potent acid sensing ion channel (ASIC) blocker with IC50 of 2-30 uM; inhibits pH 4.5-evoked ASIC currents, also equipotently blocks the sustained phase of ASIC3-like current; is more potent than amiloride in vitro and in vivo pain models, with minimal brain penetration.
