ALOX15-IN-1 (Compound 8b) is a potent, substrate-selective and allosteric inhibitor of mammalian Arachidonic acid 15-lipoxygenase (ALOX15) orthologs, inhibits linoleate oxygenase activity of rabbit and human ALOX15 with IC50 of 0.04 uM, without affecting arachidonic acid oxygenation.
