Calyculin A is a more potent phosphatase inhibitor than Okadaic acid; Calyculin A and Okadaic acid both inhibit catalytic subunit of type-2A phosphatase (IC50 =0.5-1 nM); for protein phosphatase type-1, calyculin A is more effective.
