BRD9 inhibitor EA-89 is a potent and selective inhibitor that binds to BRD9 in a novel way.
EA-89 binds to the acetyl lysine pocket similar to other known bromodomain chemotypes, forming a direct hydrogen bond with the conserved Asn100.
EA-89 produces a strongly selective profile across a subset of leukemia lines with no impact on the viability of THP-1, HEL, or HCT116.
